Guest guest
I try to grocery shop at 6 am or midnight...times when very few are there. I swear, one of these days they're going to carry me out of there kicking and screaming my head off. If something really rude is done to me, I speak up. Years ago, I would have bitten my tongue. This Lyme rage has it's good points. Rita [ ] chores I had to break down today and go to the grocery store. Yup. It was called having no food. So as much as my legs were burning and my shoulders were burning and my wrists ached, I went. I've always hated grocery shopping. I despise it now. I also have found that my " irritation level " is severely heightened. The pain also got worse the longer I was there b/c I was lifting stuff off the shelves and pushing the cart, unloading the cart, unloading the bags into the car. OMG, then I had to unload the car, take the stuff out and put it away. Let's just say that now I'm really hurting. Now the whole purpose was to get food b/c I was out of food and needed to eat. I was so hurting and so tired that it was screw eating! I'm to tired to make anything. I hate Lyme. I'm sure it didn't help having to chelate prior to all of this either. Chelating wipes me out. My house is a mess. I hate that too. I try to do a little bit here and there. But it never looks like anything gets done. Damn. I can't get out a straight sentence. This is taking me forever. I have to stop. Ali
Guest guest
My son is 19 we pay him $20 every two weeks for emptying the dish washer and all the trash from each room. This gives him some spending money and it is also teaching him responsibility. There are some other things his dad expects for him to do too, to help out.If he complains I tell him we are a family and family help each other. The younger you start them out helping I think the better. The money helps to keep him motivated. Doing chores helps them feel better about themselves, they may not think this now, but later in life they will understand it. pj
Guest guest
Also, my son would do almost any chore to avoid being dragged along on a 'family' fishing trip. ;-) Kathy J.
