Has anyone heard of or tried K12?

I just enrolled my son in K12 and I wanted to know what you all thought about it

if you have heard of it or experienced it for yourself first hand.. Thanks!

My son did it for 6th and 7th grade. Worked for us because although there was a list of what he needed to do for the year,,,,it was totally self-propelled. He loved working at his own pace. On some days........off the others. And that was OK.

Curriculum was really good, if you ask me.

I have heard of K12 and think it is a good program. I am thinking about using

it when my son enters 6th grade, unless the company I work for opens a school in

FL. For those of you High school kids in SC and Colorado, you can check out

Provost Academy. We've got some really good stuff, too!

we are looking at the sister school, calvert, we have it between calvert and k12.  i had been set on calvert but heard k12 does well with the ieps so now I have to talk to them both about it to see how it works with the vurtual schools.  so basically we only elliminated connections so far
