Guest guest
Greeting all, The School district completed OT evaluation on my 8 yrs old son who is diagnosed with HFA. Definite difference was noted in sensory processing and school factors. the area of deficit fell in the area of fine motor specifically manual dexterity and organization - overall test ranking 25 %. The following are the services offered. OT will be responsible for current attending and organization goals OT will push in 30 minutes weekly We asked that OT push in three times a week but no less than 2, they stated that the goals would be worked on by all members of the team and addressed daily through general education modifications and accommodations. This is all a very new process for us as our son was just diagnosed this past Summer. WE are concerned what they are offering will not make a huge difference. We would really appreciate any advice. Thanks, Yeme
