Children can get Reyes Syndrome if they are given aspirin while they have a

viral infection, I believe. I don't know all the details about Reyes

Syndrome, but I've heard it can be life-threatening.

Funny how our entire family made it through childhood on " baby aspirin " ,

those little pink tablets, and my son has never even seen them!

Hi Janet,

I think that you are not supposed to give children aspirin if they have

flu symptoms. You can give it for other reasons, like for a tooth ache,

etc.
