North Jersey Arthritis Course, starting 11/6/00

Hi all

A list member from Ringwood NJ, the next town over,

wrote in not long ago, but since I have misplaced his

address I'll write the entire list --

Chilton Memorial Hospital and the Arthritis Foundation

are sponsoring a six-week arthritis self-help course.

It runs from 10 AM - 12 PM every Monday starting

November 6, and costs $50.00. It will be held at the

Wayne YM-YWHA, One Pike Drive (off Ratzer Road, about

three minutes from Paterson University).

The course includes:

-- Proper use of exercise

-- Ways to deal with stress and depression

-- Strategies for decreasing pain

-- Problem solving techniques

-- Communication skills

Course attendence is limited, so apply now if you are

interested. And everyone NOT living in North Jersey,

I'll be keeping the list up to date on what we do in

the class. If you think it is worthwhile you should

contact your local AF Chapter office about getting the

course in your area!
