Guest guest
For anyone in the area of Kansas City you might consider the following day long program. I will quote from the article in our local newspaper. " Everything a professional in any health-related field, including lawyers and real estate professionals, should know about mold will be presented by the American Lung Association of Kansas at a day-long program in Overland Park. The program will be Feb. 26 at the Doubletree Hotel at Corporate Woods in Overland Park. It is designed for asthma outreach workers, attorneys, building and home inspectors, contractors, county extension educators, country sanitarians, environmental consultants, health department personnel, heating-ventilation-and air-conditioning practitioners, real estate agents and appraisers, risk managers and school nurses. The program will offer continuing education credits for nurses. The program will cover how bio-contamination is determined, the effect of mold on people, the potential harm to those with asthma and allergies, and how the source of underlying moisture problems are found and corrected. To register to attend, contact the American Lung Association of Kansas at 1-800-586-4872 before Feb. 21 or visit the web site at www.kslung.org for more information.
