Is your son adopted or a foster child? Otherwise this

DX doesn't make sense.

Report goes to new school.

I think someone at the school tried to save time by doing"Cut and Paste" from another students similar report, mistakenly put that on your child's report. Ask for verification! Mistakes do happen and you have the right to an accurate report! You also don't want false info going out to other schools. Happens all the time.

No, he mine, and never had neglect etc. Maybe wires got crossed? Have emailed

the guidance officer asking where she got that from as we weren't told any such

thing by psychiatrist.

I do have mild Asperger's (mild because good at disguising it) and also suffered

from depression, so wasn't always emotionally available, but we always did our

best and he is closer to his parents than anyone else

The only way to find out is to ask to have copies of all his records from the various places that have evaluated him. Then you can piece together what is going on. I have had things added to reports and evaluations before and had to make them fix the mistakes. Sometimes they have even put the wrong name in, age, sex, etc. Always get the report and always check it over so that it really reflects your child.
