Guest guest
Sure, it was the forum on ironmagazine.com. The link I gave you is for a product called T-Force which has Fadogia Agrestis in it. But wanted to try it out myself. But I am taking hcG to boost my T. > > > > > > I have all the classic symptoms of low testosterone including, lethargy, irritability, little to no libido, some ed, and weight gain. I am 36 years old and eat healthy and exercise daily but nothin is helping. I went to the doc to get testosterone checked and levels came back 189ng/dl. I was happy with the results because and was ready to make the jump to treatment because I felt that it could be a life changer since I no longer feel like myself. Doc wanted to retest and levels came back at 264 for total test and 52 for free test which he considers to be normal. I wanted to test again immediatly but he wants me to wait 3 weeks because I also have low vitamin d which I began taking 2000mg of after my initial blood work. His concern is the mood by my concern is my total health and quality of life. My question to you is does testosterone treatment help as much as I think or should I just suck it up and deal with my low " normal " testosterone levels. Any input would be appreciated. Guest guest
Ed, did you also take stinging nettle root and l dopa mucuna at the same time as the T-Force before you started HCG? Which was most effective and how long did you take supplement? Thanks. Bill From: edhill_2006@... Guest guest
Bill, I started hcg about 3 weeks ago, and am thinking of stopping, because I don't want the natural production of LH to shut down. I only started l dopa mucuna and stinging nettle about a week ago, so I can't comment on T-Force. But from what I have read, T-Force seems to get positive reviews. I won't get a blood test until September, so I have no idea of where I am at with T. I do feel better though, so I would suspect that my test is is higher than it was. I have been getting some good wood lately too. I also have been reading on other forums that clomid raises test. It seems it will do this in only three weeks of taking it. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have all the classic symptoms of low testosterone including, lethargy, irritability, little to no libido, some ed, and weight gain. Guest guest
Ed, sorry but I'm confused. What were you taking that increased natural production of LH before you started HCG if you only started l dopa and Stinging nettle a week ago and HCG 3 weeks ago? When did you start taking T-Force as that only has fadogia agrestis right? If you stop HCG now, do you expect the T-Force to sensitize your ledig cells to produce their own T again?? Can you go over what naturals you took that worked and what effects they had prior to 3 weeks ago? thanks. Bill From: edhill_2006@... Guest guest
Sorry for the confusion Bill. I wasn't taking anything before to increase it. I saw that forum post I referred you to after I started hcg, and figured, what the heck, anything thing that can help the situation. I know my pituitary must be producing LH because my total T was at 382 two months ago. I was having some ED issues, so that is when I decided to try hcg to increase my T. But I have been reading that taking hcg for too long can shut down the natural production, so I am afraid of this happening. I guess another week wouldn't hurt. It is confusing because I have read others say that it takes at least a month to start working. Maybe Phil will chime in. I don't profess to be an expert on the subject. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have all the classic symptoms of low testosterone including, lethargy, irritability, little to no libido, some ed, and weight gain. Guest guest
To put it frankly, those numbers are too low. Even if you had Total T say between 300 and 350 but still had symptoms, a GOOD doctor would prescribe TRT. There are some good posts and good books to educate yourself on this. I had the same issue as you (Total at 240, once at 280) and the doc wouldn't do anything. I bought a book, educated myself, educated him and got some help. Ultimately though, I went to a doctor who specializes in TRT because it's not simply a matter of giving you some testosterone and sending you on your way. You may need something to control estrogen and there is the " shrinking-balls " issue as well. The book I got is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Testosterone-Life-Recharge-Vitality-Overall/dp/0071494804/\ ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1281616118 & sr=8-1 I see a great doctor named Dr. Crisler in Lansing, MI. If Lansing is not close to you, ask Phil (the co-moderator on this board) - he can help you find someone (there is a database here somewhere or you can call a compounding pharmacy and get a recommedation). There is a solution and you will feel better. Educate and arm yourself and then go to battle for your life! Guest guest
For the most part, I can shrug off Madeline's behaviors or they don't really get under my skin to a point where she does it and it pushes THAT button. KWIM? Except ONE......We cannot have sweets in this house that cannot be consumed in one night. We bought a valentine's day cake and she dug her hands in it while my I was upstairs doing laundry and my husband was in the bathroom....then yesterday we get girl scout cookies to deliver and I included her getting the orders ready..etc etc...I hid the ones that were ours or go to family members out of state and the last thing I tell my husband is "I don't know if one of us should sleep downstairs so Madeline doesn't get into the cookies." But we both went upstairs. She watched and put together these orders...knowing they were going to SOMEONE else...and still because I hid the others (and I opened a box up that was sitting right next to where she sits in the morning of the same exact kind) she went into someone elses order and ate the entire box except for two and that's only because my husband came downstairs. This is the one behavior that will send me from zero to REALLY mad in no time. She has done some doozies in the past. Eaten a dozen cookies in the morning...eaten 10 cupcakes I had made for a church function... It's not like we withhold sweets, she gets her portion from whatever I am making and I have to hid the rest. I don't remember which poster put it up, but the other day I was reading an email from someone in this group about how she's going to have to watch her child for the rest of his life showing them how to act and what not to do...etc...this is so true for me. I understand that some kids have their own personality and the way they do things, but even with her being pretty high-functioning I don't see her living on her own and being successful at it. She's so incredibly intelligent. She's getting an A in science yet getting a D in literacy because she can't understand the main character, plot, and settings in a fiction book.
