Monroeville Students To Relocate For Mold Removal

Moss Side Elementary School in Monroeville will close Feb. 25 so that

workers can remove mold from the building's roof.

WTAE's reported that Friday, Feb. 22, will be the final day of

classes at the school.

Most students will attend their classes at Moss Side Middle School, which is

next door to the elementary school. Three classrooms of first-graders will

attend University Park Elementary School.

Officials have not decided where to send kindergarten students.

Black mold was found in the ceiling of a girls' bathroom and in the library.

Health officials have not completed tests on the substance.
