Guest guest Posted January 19, 2008 Report Share Posted January 19, 2008 Hi all, Am I to understand correctly that a couple of you are following either GAPS or SCD protocol without supplementing a probiotic? I am working with a mom who can barely pay her rent, let alone buy a supplemental probiotic. I was thinking of suggesting that she use sauerkraut juice instead, since cabbage is fairly inexpensive. If you have been following the diet changes using fermented veggies and drinks without using a probiotic, do you still notice marked changes in yourself or your child? How do your children handle the sour taste, or do you mask it in homemade juice? Please feel free to email me off-list at jschmid2007@... if you would prefer, although I'd think that many people would be interested in this, since high-quality probiotics are so expensive!
