WLWT Eyewitness News 5's on reported that the molds were found at Batavia Elementary School. The molds -- Stachybotrys Chartarum and Apergillis -- were found in a double-wide trailer that housed four third-grade classes, on reported. The modular unit was removed from the school a month ago and the material inside was decontaminated, but four teachers claim to have health problems after being around the substances for a year and a half. on spoke with the teachers' lawyer, Trainor, who said that they are still suffering from headaches, breathing problems and swollen glands. Trainor said that the teachers complained of mold so visible that it dripped from the ceiling. " I'm critical of the school system for not paying more attention (and) not being more proactive, but it appears to be the norm, " Trainor said. Trainor said that the suit would be against the landlord, G.E. Capitol. " They are required under Ohio law to maintain habitable safe tenancy, " Trainor said. The Cleremont Schools superintendent did not return on's calls for comment. Trainor has not yet contacted the company the teachers may sue, on reported.
