Guest guest
Wondring if you could add a lttle colloidal silver to it... Theresa blue.willow@... Raw Milk Hello everyone, I know that Dr. recommends to boil all dairy products. I have been giving my children raw milk. I have been told by the farmer that the milk will lose its good properties by boiling it. Is there anyway to sterilize the milk without having to boil it? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
You might look into xylitol (sweet like sugar), grapefruit seed extract (very bitter), or colloidal silver (usually tasteless). Xylitol and colloidal silver are probably the best choices. These are all natural germicidal agents. They will kill staph bacteria, and a multitude of others, quite easily. However, I'm unsure how they affect (or don't affect) parasites or their egg stages that might be present in the milk. I think parasite eggs is Dr. 's concern re uncooked milk. Grapsfruit seed extract, being very bitter and acidic, might kill eggs. But the bitterness and acidity would be diluted in the milk to the point of probably not being effective (for eggs specifically). I've heard about a " food zapper " that might interest you, but I haven't looked into it much myself. Also, you might be able to use a regular zapper and zap the milk by dipping the electrodes briefly in the milk. But I'm unsure if that would work or not. Just an idea. -Ken Bagwell > Hello everyone, > > > > I know that Dr. recommends to boil all dairy products. I have been > giving my children raw milk. Guest guest
Just as an addendum, here is another idea... " Question #6A: Do you believe it to be possible or probable that Mad Cow Disease can be spread through milk? Dr. : Why would it not be possible? Question #6B: If so, what would counteract it? Dr. : Try sterilizing (not just boiling). Use Hydrochloric acid drops, 2 drops of U.S.P. food grade 5% HCL solution per cup (8 fluid ounces) of milk. Guest guest
Thanks for the response Ken. I did try to boil the milk and it boils different than pasteurized milk. It is undrinkable if it is boiled per Dr. 's suggestion. I do have some Hydrochloric acid drops and use colloidal silver and will give it a try. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion Theresa. I thought of that idea also. Didn't they put a dime in the milk years ago to sterilize it? I thought I read that somewhere. I wonder though how much would be needed to do the job. Should I add some to each cup of milk before serving it or add to the whole gallon? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Hello . My one year old son drinks pasteurized goat's milk and has since he was three months old. We have tried raw milk and many forms of organic milk. We have not been able to find a raw goats milk but he does very well with the pasteurized, unlike every other type we've tried which all gave him some sort of side effect like vomiting, skin rashes and constipation. Hope this helps. Nina ph:951-303-3471 fax:603-994-1746
Guest guest
Amy, my 2 year old son has very loose stool most of the time. Did your son have a similar problem and did it clear up with the colloidal silver mixed into the goat milk.. I know of one place where I can get raw goat milk, but it is very expensive. Guest guest
, From my understanding is that pasteurized dairy products are just plain undigestable. Pasteurization kills the important components of the milk. Although goats milk is more easily digested and the closest to breast milk, once you pasteurize it, it's not going to give you the health benefits of the raw milk. I get my milk straight from a local farm once a week. Yeah, it's expensive, ($4.50 gallon) but worth it. My son did have loose stools before the raw milk. The raw milk did make them firmer, but when I added the CS, they became normal. Hope this helps. Even in situations of antibiotic-associated diarrhea, inulin clears the problem pretty quickly by feeding the bifidobacteria. A probiotic won't cut it because it doesn't feed the culture. A little inulin can be put into the goat's milk. Duncan Crow

Guest guest
, I use a brand called Sovereign Silver. I purchase it in nasal spray form for headaches and sinus problems. I buy the spray bottle for bug bits or any skin issues and a dropper bottle for oral or use in foods. It seems to be the purest you can buy. I do know many people on this list make their own. There is even an instruction sheet on the web to build your own. Silver is very expensive to purchase like I do. If you can figure a way to make it yourself you can save a lot of money. Duncan Crow also sells it in bulk. I'm sure that there are machines that make it that you can purchase. I purchase mine from Wild Oats or Whole Foods market. Guest guest
--Milk is full of antibiotics, pesticides...etc. Loose stools mean bad bacteria. In my well versed opinion, milk is toxic! We have not had milk in our home in 10 years. Try www.notmilk.com I call it cow pus, as that is what it is. Research it and you will see. It is not where I studied from, however, it has some very educational points on milk. Once again, it is a personal choice. I wish I had known then what I know now. Soooooooooo much information! Guest guest
I have started the Gaps diet with my kids and they like my homade chicken nuggets, but it doesn't fit in the diet the way I make it. I used to soak my chicken in raw milk for a little while just before cooking it so it would tenderize the meat. I've taken raw milk out of the diet so my question is...can I still do this with my meat, or is the little amount of milk still enough to be a problem? Guest guest
My son reacts even to the smallest amount of milk.  Even if there is no visible reaction, you know that every little bit damages the gut a little bit more.  It may, at the very least, delay healing.  My experience is such that I know when there is an offensive food, cut it out completely!MaureenOn Mar 11, 2008, at 10:29 AM, Kandee Edge wrote:I have started the Gaps diet with my kids and they like my homade chicken nuggets, but it doesn't fit in the diet the way I make it. I used to soak my chicken in raw milk for a little while just before cooking it so it would tenderize the meat. I've taken raw milk out of the diet so my question is...can I still do this with my meat, or is the little amount of milk still enough to be a problem? KandeeMom to Hannah, Grace and
Guest guest
And we find the opposite, cooked milk or buttermilk is fine, raw milk not good here, there are intolerances, allergies and downright "no no's", this fits for us into an okay thing. Guest guest
I soak the chicken in a GAPS legal red pepper sauce (you have to read labels carefully as most have illegals in them). It tenderizes the meat, and surprisingly, doesn't make the end result spicey. Probable any acid would provide the same tenderizing effect, though. Guest guest
I don't think coconut milk will tenderize.  Do you know something I don't know?MaureenOn Mar 11, 2008, at 11:22 AM, inasnit@... wrote:You might try soaking in coconut milk.On Mar 11, 2008, at 7:29 AM, Kandee Edge wrote:I have started the Gaps diet with my kids and they like my homade chicken nuggets, but it doesn't fit in the diet the way I make it. I used to soak my chicken in raw milk for a little while just before cooking it so it would tenderize the meat. I've taken raw milk out of the diet so my question is...can I still do this with my meat, or is the little amount of milk still enough to be a problem?
Guest guest
No I've never tried it... just a guess! Is it the acid in the milk that tenderizes it? Maybe add something acidic? Like lemon juice? On Mar 11, 2008, at 8:25 AM, Maureen wrote: > I don't think coconut milk will tenderize.
