Guest guest
My daughter was recently diagnosed with PDD-NOS with pragmatic speech disorder, mild dyspraxia, low muscle tone. She is social but disconnects on sensory needs. She has emotional regulation/awareness problems. I have immersed her in private OT & speech (Her speech is improving leaps & bounds and is getting much more conversational) I see seeds of asperger's--repetitive patterns, problems with abstract thinking (there is a huge disparity in her IQ scores--Verbal iQ very high and performance IQ average, limited interests--music (which she excels in) Any advice on how to help her with Abstract thinking and any other general thoughts? How does everyone feel about dietary changes and supplements?
