If 5 a day for 3 months is not working, it probably will not work. I got some relief at 6 per day after two months, but too many side effects. I am on MTX now and it is beginning to work a little after 2 months. I am at 15 mg injected, which I do not believe is enough yet to be effective. Be aggressive with your doctor. If your liver tests are within the normal range ask about MTX -- or find another doctor.
