Guest guest
I was on the list some time ago and had detailed my story about the neglect in the Harford County Public Schools with regard to sick buildings. While I no longer work there, my secretary does. She just related the following to me: " Thanks Rochelle for remembering me in this horrible saga. I still have mold growing on the furniture, refrigerator seal, and books, even after they were professionally cleaned by HCPS. I understand that all of the mold is starting to grow back at Edgewood Middle School. What next for all of those kids and staff? My nose bleeds have stopped since I left that horrible place. It took about 6 months for them to completely stop. I just wonder what all of this residual mold is doing to us that is growing back? " I fear that the issue of sick buildings in NYC at the WTC disaster site will now haunt us for many years to come. I have put together a page at http://landofpuregold.com/thetruth.htm that references several news articles about the current issues. It has made me very sensitive to the plight of all of the construction workers, firemen, and dog rescue personnel that have worked or continue to work the site. Being a Golden person, I have also been worried about the effect on the innocent dogs who were immersed in the poisonous cocktail of muck down there. That is the basis of my page on Captain Shields and Golden Bear ( http://landofpuregold.com/bear.htm ). The fact that this dog developed skin cancer at the perimeter of a wound he sustained on the pile is truly frightening.
