the GAPS book says to wait at least 1 year before trying homemade

yoghurt of any kind. she does say that children tend to heal faster

than adults, but i think 1 year should be the basic framework, from

what her book says.

it will take a lot of time for his injured gut to heal enough (through

diet and probiotics) for yoghurt to be beneficial-- if you give it to

him too early, then it will do more harm than good and you could end

up back at square 1.

i am glad he is doing well on the diet and biokult!
