Guest guest
HI I am Tina and i live in WV. I have had psoriasis since I was a very small child. I was dx with PS two years ago although believe it has been with me over 15 years at least. As a child I have scales on both knees, both elbows, and of the scalp. The stress levels in our home were HIGH.....as I had a very controlling father. As far as meds are concerned......I also have FMS,CFIDS,Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus on top of high blood pressure and heart problems. Recently(New Years Day) I started methotrexate that ended up leaving me black and blue on my legs and one foot.( I guess for the feet, the bruises were picky) lololol......I took two complete cycles of pills of methtrex......and due to increased pain levels, bruising that makes me wonder whose been beating me in my sleep....lolol......we decided to X that strategy. We are waiting on results as to if the liver was damaged or not. I have woken to such severe pain the past three weeks even with the methadone, the pain has been barely keeping me from thinking of taking the arm off or the hand off......permanently. I refuse to let any of my health problems ruin me. Any body got any suggestions besides the wrist splints I have been wearing nightly and some of the days, bengay or capsaiicin or the like to help ease the suffering? Any ideas would be cherished and appreciated. Coping and dealing with theh agony would be great too. Thanks to all the sufferers who post and give ideas to us.......and for listening to us....moan and groan and for allowing us to reciprocate the care and bending ears. Gentle hugs Tina
