Your doctor was negligent for shrugging off symptoms that could possibly be

serious...or not. Have you thought of Parkinsons? Maybe it is just a

arthritis-induced compressed nerve, but you should mention it again and push

for further testing.

Good Luck...Annette :)

Every once in awhile my hands shake terrible. I have never told anyone, thought

it might be from the naproxen or all the caffine I intake to stay awake!!! It

is

a very scary feeling and I thought I might bring it up at my 9/9 visit. Sorry I

could'nt be of more help, but just know, it does happen to me. Jayne

I don't mean to worry you, but if I were you, I'd have the doc check me out

for possible early stages of Parkinsons Disease. My mom has it and it isn't

something to be taken lightly.

Sari,

It's funny that you mentioned this, yesterday while sitting on my deck, my

thumb started moving by itself! I don't know whether this will continue but

it's very strange. It's happened before but not as noticeable as yesterday.

I don't know about the wiggling, but my Rheumy warned me about fingers

getting stuck so that is probably common.

I have not had a trembling in my hands, but for several years I have noticed

a funny thing...if I have fallen asleep in a chair or even in the bed and all

of a sudden I have to get up to maybe answer the phone or something...I

tremble and am very unsteady for several moments. I have never experienced

this before...

I am having same problem with thumb twitching...also numbness and

tingling. I put this Q up on ASA and some suggest Carpal Tunnel Syn. Mine has

gotten so bad it's difficult to type. Will see RD next week.
