has done with the driver.  Today  came home and said he had a great day

( ) bus driver conflict

I am so intensely proud of the way my son has handled this situation with his bus driver. Apparently, the driver isn't particularly nice to and sometimes if voices an opinion the driver says he'll have to throw off the bus. Of course we always encourage to use words and that is all that has done with the driver. Today came home and said he had a great day except coming home. The driver put on loud music and said, "Turn it off". The driver said "NO" Then asked him nicely to turn it down and the driver said "NO". then asked "Why" and received no answer. didn't say anything else and told me when he came home. I am just SO happy. Seriously, this is a GIGANTIC thing for him. asked me to call transportation. Excellent choice! I did. I'm waiting for a call back. figured this all out on his own. WOW. Just WOW!

Wow, I'm 39 and I still have trouble handling those situations and I don't think

of how I should have reacted until things quiet down.

Congratulations because insightful parenting really is key!
