Since there are at least five types of PA- that range from mild to severe= there is a range of severity too! I would imagine that there is a range of severity in RA as well. For instance if your doctor identifies that you have the type of PA that will only affect your fingers and toes, this would be considered mild compared to RA, or other more severe types of PA like the spondylitis type.
