Quick question here...I've been on GAPS for 2 months now. Most days are just

like regular days before the diet, distended abdomen, moodiness, etc. I've been

able to introduce new foods and am still in stage 2 of the intro diet.

Anyways...I see a homeopathic dr every week otherwise I am bedridden w/ pain. I

was seeing him every week before on the diet as well. He tried everything he

knew for me & nothing was working. Even went to a special training session on

the brain for me. He's halfway thru the book Gut & Psychology syndrome & he is

quite impressed.

He is concerned though w/ how much the diet is hammering my body. He actually

had me take a 4 day break from the biokult & the sauerkraut juice. It was great

to feel happy & relatively normal for a few days.

Anyways, he is constantly giving me homeopathic remedies bcuz I keep absorbing

the die-off as poisons and it just kills my systems, brain, digestion etc. And I

live on homeopathic remedies it seems, mostly arborateum, arnica, mag phos, nux

vomica, rhus tox & a few others.

After reading Gut & Psychology, now I'm working my way thru Breaking the Vicious

Cycle by Elaine Gottshall and I'm noticing how much she mentions the body's

inability to break down lactose & sucrose, both of which are carrier ingredients

for these homeopathic remedies. Could it be slowing down my progress and feeding

the bacteria?
