My dd has a crush - what to do??

My 9 yr old dd got a phone call tonight from a boy in her class that she likes. She has been talking with me for two weeks now asking me for advice. I have been trying to avoid it because she is only 9.

Since he called, then his mom called a bit later on. They want us to come over this weekend.

What do I do? How do I help protect her feelings? Do I tell his parents about her dx?

Any information will be helpful.
