Guest guest
In the book Eating Alive, the author says to expect gas when you start taking probiotics. He likens it to a " shoot-out " between the good guys and bad guys. > > since starting s. boulardii and l. acidophilus we've become gassy and constipated which i'm > told is normal but could this be causing a problem? because we are gassy isn't that a bad > sign? i thought gas was a warning that bad bacteria was releasing gases hence the gas but > why would 'good' bacteria cause this reaction? > thanks > sam >
Guest guest
We have been using the S. Boulardii sold by GiProHealth: http://www.giprohealth.com/sboulardii.html We have been taking it continuously, not doing the 3 weeks on/off thing that others have mentioned. We are taking 4 capsules/day. The capsules are not too big, my 8- and 4-year old can both swallow them without difficulty. Sanj asked: Was wondering if there's a good brand of S. Boulardii and how is it taken - orally? Pill? Liquid?
