Guest guest
yep, that's been the story of my life - I am highly qualified, but having a career has been pretty much non-existent. I still haven't paid back a small loan from when I did teacher training 10 years ago (and then crashed and burned at teaching on so many levels). I am currently unemployed - last workplace fired me cos they didn't think I " fitted " - even though I've come lightyears in my assertiveness skills etc. Finishing qualifications was a marathon effort in itself, because I got burnt out (all the stress of flatting etc) Miranda < My son is not as severely affected as some Aspies I know but he is affected enough that I wonder if he is ever going to learn the needed skills to be totally independent. And, while his IQ is genius level there is a huge disparity between IQ and performance. > >
