Guest guest
Debbie, The text of your letter was fine, no capital letters and plus signs and numbers, until the end after you signed and among the little sayings you put on the post. . . maybe it has to do with the sayings that are posted. Are these written out and then added to the letter? I don't know, I am not very computer literate, just suggesting. . . . Trudy
Guest guest
Debby The next line after you signed the Hogan Clan was letters and plus marks and the third line from the bottotmm was that way also. Hope Mandy is still improving. Will be in Lubbock this weekend for LPA Dist mtg and then to Ariz for a week to see the kids. Guest guest
Ummm, now if I am reading this the way I see it from 'your' email you sent, the 'only' numbers appear with the 'tilde' used just to the left of the 'one' on the top keys. Otherwise, what you sent for my email on the top looked fine. Is that how you see it? Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have been a member for some time but haven't been active. I apologize in advance as this post is very long. My husband and I have both tested positive for HIV about 5 years ago. The ID doctor, who I shall refer to as Dr.Death told my not sick husband that he would be dead by September as he had full blown AIDS. We do not believe in HIV=AIDS+ Death and neither of us have taken the anti retroviral drugs. Two years ago after a fall in the winter where my husband was knocked unconscious and actually covered with snow for several hours he came down with PCP pneumonia. We were scared to hospitalize him but finally did and then he only accepted treatment for the pneumonia. He was released after a week and came home weak and on O2 but with the help of our spiritual practices and our natropath he got off the O2 and went back to work. To make a long story short he worked for a few months and came down with panic attacks and some memory problems which the psychiatrist attributed to the drugs he was given when hospitalized...he put him on some antidepressants and my husband took them for a time then stopped. Up until a few months ago he was doing well and was ready to go back to work then he started having swelling on his toes and ankles which they diagnosed as arthritis. They started him on arthrotec then recently because it wasn't working he was having pain in his neck and shoulders his doctor switched him to Bextra....Big Mistake!!!! He has had all of the rare side effects form the drug and took it for 19 days before I began to search the Net for side effects and found out that if you are allergic to sulfur drugs you should Never take Bextra!!! Here is our problem....He had gotten canker sores from a broken filling cutting his lip and wasn't eating and drinking because of the pain...in comes Bextra and further stops the healing of the canker sores and makes him lose his appetite and have dementia like confusion. He developed a couggh and then started getting progressively weaker till he couldn't stand which is the point where I had him hospitalized. He only received two intravenous antibiotics...Zitromax and rocethin...(sp),,,and then only fluids to hydrate him. He was in for 1 week he is home and now the doctors say he is end stage and that he has AIDS wasting and dementia and that he willn't live more than a few weeks to a year. His CD4 count is 0 and his viral load is over 100,000...and yes I know they tests are full of shit...just added the details so you would know where we are. I am trying to build up his body weight... (from 116 he is 5'11 inches) ... with goat's milk kefir made into shakes with whey protein, blueberries and ground flax and honey, he takes AG-Immune 2 cap twice a day and a Chinese herbal formula called Seven Forests Composition A 2 caps 2x's a day. I am taking a family medical leave to make sure he is eating all his meals and at this point he isn't able to walk or do anything without help. His legs have swollen, they were fine before he was in the hospital and they are hot to touch but he says they don't hurt and he doesn't flinch when I touch them. He is very confused still as I am. He had a chest X-ray and he doesn't have pneumonia. His doctors do not want to help with anything alternative they don't even want to treat any illnesses he may get if we don't agree to the drug therapy. I still don't believe in what his ID doctors are saying but I am at a loss to explain what has happened to make him so ill and unable to do for himself. Has anyone else been through this or have any ides???? Namaste, Mujadillah

Chemo can put the liver and kidneys into deficit or accelerate a problem there. Is there any pain at kidneys, liver, prostate? Is urination and solid waste elimination normal? Swelling could be a physical plumbing problem like an over-flowing sink or toilet--once my father almost died from a prostate blocking his urethra then bladder swelling up until it blocked his intestine, so he was constipated and did not urinate for days, turned yellow, was about to burst a bladder when a urologist figured out his prostate was blocking all of his plumbing. His ordinary doctor didn't have a guess, never gave a prostate exam or test routinely as per male age over forty. Swelling could mean a kidney problem, which could trace back to lots of things. Prescription drugs can hurt liver and kidneys. If that is it then we would want to take the load off those organs and to clean them out, which would mean drink lots of water, supplement fiber, take milk thistle to protect liver cells, read up on liver cleansing and tonics. Swelling could mean inflammation as the doctors supposed was arthritis, and in that case it should respond to MSM, red clover tea and capsules, ginger, not as a cure but to offset the cause. Swelling could mean edema from a chemical imbalance that caused fluid to flow to the wrong side of membranes and collect. That would have some root cause but it could help to balance electrolytes with as many fruits and vegetables as possible, juicing and pure water if possible. Things with minerals and trace minerals such as kelp and alfalfa tablets, green leafy vegetables and brussels sprouts. Best alkalizer supplement--I take it often just for minerals and trace minerals--this relates to depression, anxiety attacks, confusion, fatigue, immunity, swelling as far as edema and fluid retention-- http://www.ariseandshine.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Product_Code=AS1\ 70 & Category_Code= Was the filling that cut the lip a metal one? That would relate to pneumonia and anxiety and liver and kidney stress because of the mercury and bacteria released. If you are so inclined you could try a two quart enema using a drug store Fleet kit and see if that basic form of colon hydro therapy helped the liver and kidneys to catch up with the fluid and inflammation. l-glutamine and a probiotic supplement l-glutamine is for the intestine wall and it is also called brain sugar. -Bob

Guest guest
I would agree with those that have recommended juicing. You need a good juicer such as the Champion or one in the Green Power family (Green Star, Green Life). If you search around the internet you can get a good price on these. Dr. Lorraine Day recommends drinking one glass of freshly made juice every hour in her advice on curing cancer. You do not need to dissasemble the juicer each time; it's enough to just flush it with water after use and clean it at the end of the day. Dr. Schultz also recommends juicing. If you can find a doctor who will do vitamin IVs, that will be very helpful, though it probably won't be reimbursed by insurance. When I was ill, I did one vitamin C IV and another of hydrogen peroxide every week and the improvement in my health and appearance was evident in only a few weeks. You can find a complementary doctor through www.acam.org, though some can be very expensive, so you need to call and find out what their charges are ahead of time. Not all doctors who practice complementary medicine charge a fortune. Many will treat HIV patients with IVs, some use ozone where the blood is allowed to flow into a bottle and then combined with ozone and reintroduced back into the vein, adding additional ozone to the bottle during the IV. Some doctors who practice this are actually against AIDS drugs. As someone mentioned, heat (hyperthermia) can be helpful as well. The cheapest way of doing this is to take a hot bath, adding more hot water while inside the tub. It's best to have help getting out of the tub, as dizziness can result. You can find articles about this on the web. Wrapping up in blankets afterwards with a hot water bottle, a hot drink, etc. will prolong the effects of the bath. Hydrogen peroxide swished in the mouth is good for canker sores. And read up on coffee enemas for detox. I would also recommend supplementing with zinc and organically-bound selenium such as yeast, kelp or brocolli-based. Up to 100 mg of elemental zinc is considered helpful for the immune system. People who are immune depressed can take 800 mcg of selenium safely. Check out the www.keephope.net site for more information, they also talk about an olive oil/lemon drink that is beneficial for wasting. BTW, I am not HIV+, but I do have hepatitis C. My husband who is positive showed a big improvement in his health--as well as his labs when he followed just some of these recommendations. All the best, Lana > Hello everyone, > I have been a member for some time but haven't been active. > I apologize in advance as this post is very long. > > My husband and I have both tested positive for HIV about 5 years ago. They are cellular debris present when cells break down -- something that happens all the time. Supposedly no cell in your body is more than 7 or 8 years old. The cause of most (if not all) dis-ease is poisoning. People poison their livers all the time with alcohol, drugs and toxic " foods " . Guest guest
Frst of all, my husband and I don't live in the U.S., so finding doctors outside the national health system is not only difficult, but ruinously expensive. " Labs " refers to the blood tests that are given to gauge one's health, whether it be glucose, RBC, WBC, neutrophils, platelets, hemoglobin, LFTs and yes, even the dreaded CD4 and CD8 counts, as these things can serve as indicators of illness, though they should never serve as the SOLE indicators. Obviously, if one has " good labs " but feels like crap all the time, something is amiss-- and this is the main problem with allopathic medicine today--many doctors look only at the labs. Regarding hepatitis C, the symptoms can range from no symptoms at all to general fatigue, neuropathy, " brain-fog " and a host of other symptoms too numerous to list here, since a liver that is being destroyed loses its ability to detoxify the body. Some people develop cryoglobulinemia and vasculitis. In end stage liver disease one can suffer esophageal varices, ascites and encephalopathy. At this stage of the disease liver cancer can develop, but even if it doesn't, liver failure leads to death unless one receives a transplant. Unfortunately, a transplanted liver can often be quickly destroyed as the virus (if it's really a virus) remains in the body. If you want to tell me that hepatitis C doesn't exist then you'll have to offer another suggestion as to what exactly is destroying the livers of millions of people--maybe it isn't a virus, but the fact is that for many people, treatment with interferon arrests the disease process. Hepatitis C is very mysterious in that some people can have it for decades and suffer no fibrosis, others keep it in check for many years and then suddenly develop rapid fibrosis--none of these things seem to correlate completely with things such as viral load or liver enzymes, leading me to believe that there is some important factor that researchers have failed to discover. They don't believe in remedies or treating disease, but concentrate on creating health. I know people who have been teaching others for over 30 years and have ever seen it NOT work. I believe it is the fastest and most effective means of restoring health. It is without a doubt the most economical and globally sustainable approach to health. And there are support groups all over the country -- which you will need. You are right there. Good luck. Ed http://sobehealthy.com

As for Natural Hygiene, almost any of the old books by Drs. Shelton or Tilden, or Arnold Ehret will give you a handle on it. Of the recent books " Hooked on Raw, " by Rhio is one of my favorites. It explains the science, the philosophy and has some great recipes too. Do a search and check out her web site. The rebounder is a good investment for your entire family's health. I think your husband will get more out of it if you order the support bar with it. If you get a good one, it's a lifetime investment, so the sooner you get it, the more value you'll receive. Good luck Ed
Guest guest
If I had one book to recommend it would be " Flood Your Body with Oxygen " by Ed McAbe. This book is phenomenally informative on oxygen based therapies that include ozone, hydrogen peroxide and splitting the H20 molecule. Based on the Edema thing, I did recently listen to a tape that identifies this condition to be associated with dehydration. This of course some from the famous book " Your Body's Many Cries for Water. " kev Needing Help > Hi Ed, > Thankyou for the advice. > I checked the site out and the rebounder is one of the purchases I have > planned for my income tax refund, along with a new water purifier...my old one > conked out. > There is sooo much information and soooo many books I'd like to get can you > recommend one that will be a good starting point? > Namaste, > Mujadillah > > >
Guest guest
Just a word of advise with GSE and Vit E, they wont stop gram negative bacteria in a water based product. I have had my own stuff lab tested. This is not so much as issue with things like body butter and such that have only butters and oils. Shelf life with natural presevative is only about 3 to 6+ months if stored properly (A Dark, cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, preferably refrigerated and avoid contact with non sterile objects). Most naturally preserved things I have seen on market have you sign a stability release form, exempting the company from liability. I believe these things can inhibit some growth and prevent oil rancidity, but they dont prevent all forms of bacterial growth. grapeseed oil itself has a horrible shelf life and goes rancid very quickly
Guest guest
Hello, I've never posted before. I have a 6 year old son who has Aspergers. He is in the first grade. He transitioned to first grade fairly easy, but 2 weeks ago, he really started having some issues with angry outbursts, calling his " aid " and teacher names, and he even hit his " aid " . His " aid " is not a para, she is a long term substitute teacher that has been with him for a year. He is currently on a 504 plan and we are going to his first initial IEP meeting next week. OKay, my concern is this... Ever since his really angry outbursts started, there has been talk of him being placed in a program called TDT that is a part of Ozark Guidance Center. He would no longer attend school, but go to this other building for " Thereputic Day Treatment " This is a place for children who has a bad home life (which he doesn't) and who just have a hard time in regular school. It's got children with behavior issues, sexual abuse, etc... His doctor has changed his medication, and he has had good days for about a week. He is smart, he is the " little professor " type. He is reading on a 4th grade level and is advanced in math. I have been told that the school can court order this. I am really scared, and sad, and angry... It seems like if he is not fitting the " mold " then they want him to go to this place. What are his rights, and mine as a parent? I am new to this. Any information would be helpful. Thank you Sheri
Guest guest
Sheri, Hello and welcome. I believe that your first objective is to discover what his triggers are... the things that set him off. There are a couple of ways to do this. One is to request, in writting, for a functional behavior analysis. Some schools will agress but do the FBA themselves. You don't want this. Make sure that they understand that it needs to be done by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Now, they may not grant it and do it themselves anyway. For the first round, that is okay and it is their right to do. But then you will need to request for an independent FBA. After you give them your written request, they have 20 days to respond. If they respond negatively, which they can, they must give you a written response. Then you will have to get legal help and file for due process. If they consent, they have to give you a list of providers. You can choose a provider from their list. Now, if their list doesn't have any BCBAs, then write back to say that the providers are not acceptable and to give you a list of BCBAs. Stick to your guns on this because, at this point, they are required to provide you with someone that you will want. This have to be a mutual consent process. Now, when you get your list of BCBA providers, call them and interview them without giving any details about your child. You want to make sure that they will include observations and interviews for all environments, home, community, and school. In addition, you need to ensure that they will be providing comprehensive recommendations for your child. They will need to have experience in Autism, so ask them to detail their experience. Feel them out and make sure that you get someone that will be objective. Okay, that was one good way. Another possibility is to find a neuropsychologist. This type of doctor will find out how your son's brain is or isn't processing all information along with social/emotional responses. I don't know what state you live in but, just in case you need an example of this type of service, I have put a link to the one that I used for my dd who is HFA. http://www.beverlytignorphd.com/Assessment.html You can request a neuropsychological evaluation from the school but do know that it is not a required test, at least to the best of my knowledge. Hence, it is atypical and out of the regular scope. So don't be surprise if they look at you with the deer-and-headlights expression. You may have to pursue this one on your own but it is a powerful tool to have in your aresenal. Please keep the group posted. Regards, > > Hello, I've never posted before.
