My ds has been trying to make friends online and it hasn't worked real well so

far. Does anyone one have ood website, prefferably free, that would be good?

Have you tried wrongplanet.net, they have a part of the website specially for kids.

Hi,

My girl goes to this web site which has helped her a lot. I will post the name of the web site this afternoon.

The web site she goes allow the children to make their own character and they interact with each other through games. Most of those children has aspergers. After she found this game, my girl feels she is not alone.

I take the time to supervise her and check the computer and make sure her friends are real people and not predator. I go to intellious and made a background check.

I have not found a predator yet in that web site, just sad stories such as a girl that was abused by somebody on her family. Her character was always crying and telling her friends that she was being abused and if she said something her family was going to hurt her and that she was planning to run away...She asked my girl if I could take her, I definite say "no".

Oh well, she told my girl she was going to run away from home, so I went online to Georgia, found the town and her mother name. I emailed the city hall town where they lived and asked them to investigate.

They investigated.

That night the girl got beaten up by the mother and her character was crying at night long. We were hart broken...

I emailed the city hall of the girl town in Georgia again and asked them to investigate the beat up. I supposed the girl was taken away from her mother after that because she has not been in the game since...I am afraid of asking for her because I do not want to hear bad news...

Oh well, my point is that in those webs sites there is always sad things that our children get exposed to ...

My girl is having fun in that web site but also she is learning that in this world there are several children suffering and sometimes there is no too much we can do to help them.
