Guest guest
Our son is turning 17 in two weeks, and although he's definitely shown an interest in learning to drive, he seems to be perfectly comfortable with not getting his license until he's 18. My biggest concern isn't his driving ability, but the ability to not get distracted while driving. I can envision him driving along and deciding to mess with the radio or something, or sees something that catches his interest other than the road and other drivers. I'm praying that by the time he's 18, that he'll be a bit more mature and ready for the responsibility. > > I don't know. I can only say that my son does not wish to drive now at 18. I tried one time to let him drive the car down the block. He got very upset frustrated etc. So I didn't push it. > > > > I am wondering about how Asperger's does with driving. I am asking as I plan on having take driver's ed. > > >
