Guest guest
You are on the right track with the medication I think. We started medication for our daughter this summer. This is what I noticed about my daughter. If life is all smooth sailing she behaviors pretty well. But any frustration even as little as her psychiatrist asking her how her anxiety is and she is throwing the doctor's precription pad out the door. We just started the zoloft this summer and it has helped alot to reduce her rages over frustrations. But we still have a long ways to go I think. I have devouted myself to trying to smooth things out for my daughter and help organize her and yet it is never enough. All I am doing is wearing myself out. I would keep up with the medication trials finding a medication he can tolerate and keep increasing it ever so slightly until he can tolerate life better and all its many stresses. Regarding visits with his mother: I would suggest it be keep short at first and routine and slowly increase the time spent there. Guest guest
Someone told me recently to have the thyroid tested when they are so easily raged. She found thyroid medicine fixed he problem. We have anger issues at home but he keeps it together at school. (I guess he wants me to look like an idiot because he school doesn't see it at all!!! We use risperdal 1 mg am and 1 mg pm and he is doing better. We are upping it slowly to try to get it right. > > > > My grandson used to have rages at school .Now we have him on homebound > > He actually did really good last year. This year new teacher his mother is moving and having another baby by another man She has began to say he has to come and stay with her some sooooooo the rages have began oh so bad......he has thrown me(his grandmother) and hurt me bad he is 13 and strong. We took him to the doctor and all he did was say testosterone omg this is not testosterone he put him on 20 mg of prozac verses10 of lexapro I really dont know what to do we have had very little aba and he is going to a therapist put doesnt seem to help > > HELP HELP HELP HELP > > >
