At one time during the course of this disease I kept getting sinus infections, which invariably traveled downward, going from sinus to throat to chest and ending up in a bronchial infection. Turned out after my blood was tested that I had chlamydia pneumonia. Cheney treated me for it (with two antibiotics--Biaxin & Flagyl) and I haven't had a bronchial infection since. Its worth a try. Guest guest
Mike A lot of people belive that kutapressin helps in this area. I take it but I am not sure how much it helps. Have you had your testosterone level checked? You might talk to an endrocrinologist about getting a complete workup and even have a HGH stimulation test. good luck Steve Introduction and question From: mcamp10139@... I am fairly new to the list and Carol is my support group leader here in the DFW area. I have had CFS for 6 years and was diagnosed by Dr. Salvato in Houston among others. Until recently I was having pretty severe relapses. I did a juice fast for about six weeks and that cleared up most of my GI problems. Now it seems that my biggest problem is that I am constantly getting a cold, bronchial infection, mild flu or whatever is going around. Many PWCs report very few colds and no flu, only relapses. My question is, what should I be taking to boost my immune system? CoQ10, HGH, vitamin A? Any comments would be appreciated. I'm 42 and still working (but taking lots of sick days). Thanks, Mike ---------------------------

Guest guest
Yes, Nico, you sure can. If I remember correctly (its been several years ago, so I'm hoping this is correct--right now I've got a little brain fog that's intefering with my reception!) I was on Biaxin and Flagyl concurrently for about three or four months. Cheney told me that research from Duke had shown that Biaxin would take care of the chlamydia pneumoniae bacteria BETWEEN the blood cells, but that to get to the bacteria which had penetrated INSIDE the blood cells, you had to use Flagyl, an antibiotic that is able to penetrate cell walls. This is why I was on both antibiotics at the same time. Only one problem: after being on such strong antibiotics for that length of time, I was left with a terrible systemic yeast infection. Cheney treated me for this with daily doses of Diflucan and probiotics (also for several months, as I recall). I still take the probiotics, in fact, just to try and " ward of " anything that might try to " set up shop " in my system! Guest guest
Hi Sheri, I'm interested in your treatment. The RA specialist I went to see a couple of weeks ago mentioned chlamydia and microplasma in his treatment of his CFS patients. (my GP thought I might have lupus and had sent me to this specialist. I never mentioned CFS to him, but after looking at me over and at my blood work up he told me I had CFS) When I came home and told my husband what the specialist had said he was confused and so am I about the chlamydia. Isn't this a STD? Is there other ways of getting it or is it a different strain of the virus? Judi Re: Introduction and question >From: allan moore <afmoore1@...> > >Yes, Nico, you sure can. Guest guest
That's a great suggestion. The problem is they don't want to know that. Please read my IOM testimony on the types of studies needed. I tried for a number of years to get a bill passed which would required vaccination as part of the death certificate of children 7 and under (this was before so many vaxes for older children). " Public Health " successfully fought it touth and nail. If I ever needed proof that they don't want information, there it was. The problem is: who will pay for such a study? The government used to be a good one to ask, but now that they cover the vaccine manufacturer's liability, not a lot of chance they will fairly examine the issue. It's like with herbs - here you have years of empirical data, but since they can't be patented, no one is interested, not even the herbal companies. (Who would have a vested interest, and could be challenged anyway.) Sandy from Alaska ALL INFORMATION, DATA, AND MATERIAL CONTAINED, PRESENTED, OR PROVIDED HERE IS FOR GENERAL INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS REFLECTING THE KNOWLEDGE OR OPINIONS OF THE PUBLISHER, AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED OR INTENDED AS PROVIDING MEDICAL OR LEGAL ADVICE. THE DECISION WHETHER OR NOT TO VACCINATE IS AN IMPORTANT AND COMPLEX ISSUE AND SHOULD BE MADE BY YOU, AND YOU ALONE, IN CONSULTATION WITH YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. Introduction and question Hi everyone, my name is Jenine and I have a 5 month old beautiful son. At his 2 month well child visit, he received all of his shots. Back then I did not think to question the vaccines. 3 hours after we got home, he started to cry and scream. He did this for 5 days! If he wasn't sleeping or eating, he was crying. It was the strangest cry also. It scared dh and me!!! At his 4 month checkup, we mentioned this to his ped. who said that it was probably the flu. No way would the vaccine cause that. I argued with her and long story short, he received all the shots except the pertussis. He was fine after those shots. Over the past month I've been researching this vaccine issue and am appalled at what I'm reading. My husband and I have decided no more vaccines for little guy. We are currently going to a chiropracter that specializes in natural healing and he is trying to undo the damage (if any) that might have been done. So far my ds shows no signs of any problems, but you never know what might show up in the future. We are keeping our fingers crossed and saying our prayers that everything will be ok. The few people I've told about the no vax have not taken to it kindly. Especially my brother who is a MD. He gave me the whole canned talk, but eventually said that I'm the parent and I have to do what I think is best. Anyways, that's a little bit about me. I have a question however that I would love to pose to the pro-vaccine researchers. Why don't you compare the incidence of autism, ms, ADHD, Crohn's, etc. among vaccinated kids against the incidence of the same diseases in the Jehova Witness kids. From what I know, they do not give any vaccinations, therefore, this would be a good comparison. Correct? Any comments would be appreciated. I would also like to say that in the 4 days I've been on this group I've learned a tremendous amount. I only wish there was a way to consolidate everything so that I could present the info to others. God Bless everyone, Jenine
Guest guest
Hi Jenine, glad you're here. I saw Sandy already told you why an official study won't be done comparing the Jehovas to vaccinated. She's absolutely right. Thought I would mention that I print alot of the e-mails and file them so that I will have a copy of relevant articles or poignant stories of parents with vaccine damaged children to show the non-believers. It's hard to get my husband to read a book, but I made him look at the pictures of dead children on www.909shot.com and made him read those heartbreaking stories. He was real quick to jump on the bandwagon with me then! I also make him read alot of the e-mails from here. So I think it is a good idea to print alot of this information. Your Jehova Witness idea - it was a dang good one.

Guest guest
We had no luck in finding any either. What I ended up doing is using a CAD program do draw up a couple of possible designs and took them to a machinist to see if he could make either or both of them out of stainless steel. He was able to make both designs and they came out perfectly. The one that Lori uses is just a simple plug that she holds in place with a Band-Aid. The other has " wings " with a slot in each wing to thread a ribbon or piece of elastic through. I no longer have the drawings, but I can take some pictures if you are interested. > Does anybody know where to get a so-called " button " that keeps the > hole in my trachea instead of keeping a trach there all the time? Guest guest
excellent! Thanks a lot! I am definitely interested in those drawings then. Guest guest
Aul, took some pictures of the trach buttons we had made. I will e-mail you directly. If anyone else wants to see, please let me know. How much? I don't know. The guy who made mine did it for free..so nice of him. They probably wouldn't charge much tho. If I were to do this again, I would go for a lighter weight material (just sure what tho). Lori P.S. I have a size 4 trach. Re: Introduction and question excellent! Thanks a lot! Guest guest
welcome to the group. Hib usually isnt an issue with a SOLELY breastfed baby that is at home with you and not in daycare. Those to things cut your chances dramatically (check sheris site theres lots of info). Pertussis can be nasty and I know first hand my dd had it at 5 mo old and with help from this list and a GREAT homeopath we made it but it was scarey at times. There are lots of treatments for Pertussis VIT c (sodium ascorbate form) works wonders. My dd is 2 now and I still toss the vaccine issue. yOu will get lots of help and support here and the moms here and sheri are wonderful outlets of knowledge. Oh and my opinion I wouldnt be in a hurry for solids even at 6 mo is early. Dr Jay Gordon and lots others dont recommended solids till the first birthday. good luck and welcome! That is VITAL If you are breastfeeding, little risk from HIB Please don't let them scare you into these - that is their tactic and pertussis - good grief - there are outbreaks all the time and this one is not differnt. Every time there is a news story, look at what is behind it. They are trying to prepare adults for the new demand they will make that adults are vaccinated against pertussis - more money for the drug company and the vaccine doesn't work and more and more people and children with pertussis. Many vaccinated children have pertussis - but never diagnosed as the doctor won't even go there because vaccinated. We have had many on this list who cannot get their doctor to do the throat swab to confirm. So don't let these news stories sway you. We are seeing some less reactions with the new vaccine but it is NOT SAFE and it is NOT EFFECTIVE. Please please start reading my webpages, page by page http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm There is no substitute for informing yourself and letting other support you. Vaccines - ALL OF THEM are dangerous. AND all of them have not been proven to be safe or effective. Many switch from pediatricians to homoepaths so they aren't harrassed because onec you find out about the dangers of vaccines, you start to realize everything else they use is risky too - too many antibiotics, etc. You have a great homeopath in Chicago http://www.homeopathy-cures.com click on find a homeopathy Shepherd Sheri -------------------------------------------------------- Sheri Nakken, R.N., MA Vaccination Information & Choice Network, Nevada City CA & Wales UK $$ Donations to help in the work - accepted by Paypal account vaccineinfo@... voicemail US 530-740-0561 (go to http://www.paypal.com) or by mail Vaccines - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm Homeopathy course - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/homeo.htm ANY INFO OBTAINED HERE NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS MEDICAL OR LEGAL ADVICE. Nearly ready to start my own practice after studying 20 years. I teach online classes and have a list I maintain of good homeopaths there is one in Chicago on the list that I recommend as I said before. There is nothing that can replace having a good homeopath to support you through life and illness,. Vaccinated children get sick and unvaccinated children get sick. But my experience is that unvaccinated are far less sick and less often. And vaccinated children get the diseases they are vaccinated for. If you haven't read his books - do so. He reviews the use of progesterone. There's also a group - " natural alternatives to hrt " that discusses progesterone a lot and many in the forum have thyroid disease. There are many theories to the cause of hypothyroidism. I would be careful about assuming it's just because of the lack of progesterone, unless you have the tests to prove it. Plus - your body is now used to having the thyroid suppliment - you may have strong reactions by going off of it.
Guest guest
Why not combine Armour plus progesterone. Then you will feel great. $ynthroid is bad stuff IMO Gracia > Hi , > Thanks for replying, and I have read that book and saw a video of > Dr.Lee. That is where I have gotten my information from. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for replying, and I have read that book and saw a video of Dr.Lee. That is where I have gotten my information from. Has anyone on here tried to get off of synthroid using progesterone cream? My goal is to wean myself off by the beginning of May and then to not be on it at all during the month of May. I go for my yearly blood work at the end of May. I am praying that my blood work will be fine. If not, I will then ask my doctor to put me on a natural thyroid medicine. I will say this. If I notice any symptoms appearing, I will put myself back on the synthroid immediately. I won't do anything that I feel may harm me. I just want to see if I can get off of it.
