Can anyone recommend a great dehumidifier (quality and SAFE ... no wierd surprises for chemically sensitive)? Or share helpful info/stories about them (or dealing with mold)?

I was recommended one by the allergy buyers club for like $280! UGH!

If that's what they cost, fine ... but I'd at least like to hear from people about their experience with this kind of appliance.

I am trying to deal with what I think is a MOLD problem in my new rental (new to me). I have never had to deal with MOLD before ...

I thought winter would be a problem here, but now I am more worried about the SPRING and SUMMER. I have had health changes since moving here, and now that warm weather has come, I am starting to smell strange things.
