Can anyone share how they serve their sauerkraut? Do your kids eat it plain or with meat or something else?

Yes, meat. It is good with sausage, pork chops or even some

slow-cooked beef brisket. Not sure what your diatary limitations are, but some

nitrate free organic chicken sausage would probably even be tasty. Maybe just

something your kids like as I think sauerkraut is an acquired taste. Too, not

sure if you have heard of kombucha, but that can be another great way to get

some lactofermented product into your kids – it’s a lot like soda

because it is fizzy. I can send you a recipe if needed.

My kids won't eat it yet, but I make sure they see me eating it and they watch

me sprinkle the kraut juice on their cut up hot dogs.
