Guest guest
Hello Ralph and Dave: First of all A BIIIIIGGG Welcome to both you as well. I hope you will enjoy our family. Everyone has a different story and experience which makes this a great group. We have lovely ones, crazy ones and funny ones of course I don’t want to forget the great people of the Quite Land who never post but read everything. Please don't be shy. We can all learn from you. In the mean time if i am forgetting to welcome anybody else please forgive me because lately i have been getting confused on who is who and who is new. I have been diagnosed with dilated Cardiomyopathy caused by myocarditis which i think means enlargement of the ventricular area due to viral infection of the middle layer of the heart which screws up the electrical system. From 91 until 2001 I was fine just on meds, After that My ex-wife who is a Nurse and my doctors convinced me to get an ICD implanted so i got one(Guidant Ventak Prism II) feb1st 2001. until may of that year I received 49 shocks then nothing until now, not even pacing due to irregular beats. I just celebrated my Third anniversary and hopefully in May (knock on wood) I will celebrate 3 years of Zapless life. At first It was rough but now i learned to live with it. I still get anxiety attacks(very seldom) but I deal with it and thanks to my doctor I have a full prescription of Clonazepam which is clonopin (an anti anxiety med) but thank god I have not need to use it in a long time so I think I am coping with it fine. I wish everyone a Zapless life, Good Luck, Good Health and Good Heart. TURK PS: In my previous email i mentioned photos. Feel free to add yours in the zapper website New too! Hi I am Ralph Moon and I live in Idaho. I have had an ICD for alittle over 5 years now and just found this list via the Zapper Website. I have made a few posting there, but none on this list. When Ireceived my first device everything went along fine for about 6months. Then it cut loose on me while I was in California and I waszapped 13 times in a week. I was hospitalized and put on a newer betablocker and amiodorone. Inside of a week I was so weak I could notstand and was rushed back to the Univ of Utah Med center. All of thezaps were inappropriate. They reprogramed and sent me home. I laterhad a lead pull loose and lodge on a muscle in my left arm. I had aninvoluntary tic synchronized with my heart beat for nearly two weeksuntil they discovered the trouble. Had a new device implanted and sofar no more problems. other than the CHF, and Pulmonary obstructivelung disease.I am glad to have found this list. I am nearly 79, and it distressesme to see young people afflicted this way. I can expect it at my ageand I am reconciled to the problems I have. My prayers are with you all.RalphPlease visit the Zapper homepage athttp://www.ZapLife.org
Guest guest
Hi- I am new to this group too and new to GAPS. I am doing this diet to hopefully help an inner ear problem I've been having. I started it last Friday though it wasn't perfect because I don't have bio-kult yet and I haven't made the sauerkraut. I am looking for a low-salt version of the sauerkraut if anybody has a recipe. I can't eat any dairy as per my doctor for a month. I may start the stages over again officially later but I wanted to get started ASAP when I got the protocal. My background is that I was a vegetarian for 22 years before this - so it is a big change. I did start eating fish last year though. I believe in the theory. I hope it helps.
