Guest guest
Hi Janie I really wish I was Lactose Intolerant, as least I would have a list of food stuff to AVOID! My Cousin is Celiac and they only found out when she was near deaths door as a child! Now a few years ago I saw a Professor of Rheumatology, a few steps up from a Rheumatologist! I asked him if he knew about this Antibiotic protocol and he said, " I have read about it, have not seen any research results on it, but SURE if you want to try it, Do! " In order to form a scientific connection between diet and arthritis, initially cash for research is required. Next up you have to invite the mice, preferably cloned mice and to my knowledge we have no cloned PA patients. PA is a condition where you would be lucky to locate two patients with the EXACT same medical histories, blood test results, same swollen joint at the same time, and x-ray damage. Trying to locate a " control group " is neigh impossible. How do you compare Psoriatic lesions? Patient A has one elbow covered while Patient B has a spot? RA is more prevalent than PA and the symptoms, prognosis are the same in RA patients. >Since strong allergic reactions are also autoimmune based, could these food connections actually be allergies (or enzyme problems like lactose intolerance) rather than a link to the PA?< Well what makes you think that PA is not a strong allergic response in itself? I KNOW that if I contract a infection, be it a cold or flu, its off to bed and flat on my back for a month. You could say that I have a strong allergic reaction to infections. Even the Rheumatologist in England told me to avoid infections and stress. As for enzyme problems. This SAME Rheumatologist put me on Evening Primrose Oil, enzyme, Gamma Lactic Acid and I have not looked back since, no flare in the P, no flare in the PA! However I also know that if I was to sit down and partake in a slice of Rhubarb Tart, the elbow, finger, wrist or toe would react within 24 hours! You have to figure out the LOGIC, perhaps PA is itself a strong allergic reaction, so locating the trigger is the important aspect! Love and God Bless Gillian
