Boy did I ever have a blow yesterday. I not only found out my 3 months

supply of meds co-pay was going up, and my insurance was pulling out of the

hospital I use, but also I found out my insurance (Blue Cross) is going to

make me get pre-approved for Enbrel.

I have been on this med since January. I wonder how they can make me do this

since I have been on it so long and my body has adjusted to it? The Dr. will

have to fill out some forms and I am scared to death. I have been diagnosed

with RA, but I have PA mostly and I know Enbrel has not been approved by the

FDA for PA.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know not too long ago I was " bragging "

that I didn't have to get preapproved. Boy, my foot is in my mouth now!

What if they don't approve me? I'm scared to death. Enbrel has made such a

difference in my life. Does anyone know when they might approve it for use

with PA?

I'm scared and rambling! :-)
