Guest guest
Hi all--I've now completed three colonics in three weeks. The last time was especially thorough, b/c the colon therapist knew I couldn't afford to come again for a long while. I've also continued taking aloe vera juice and magnesium citrate w/ Vitamin C (about 1000 mg. per day, broken into a pre-breakfast and a pre-bedtime dose). I also have been taking her recommended probiotic, iFlora, but now I've run out and cannot afford more, thanks to the huge purchase of our Jersey cow. I am praying that drinking lots of kefir will make up for it! What a miracle this has been! Whereas before I absolutely could not go to the bathroom without the help of an enema--and then the enemas just started returning water and no poop, I am now going to the bathroom quickly and comfortably 2-3 times per day! I HEARTILY recommend seeing a colon therapist! The process is very clean and modest and mostly comfortable. Several nights I've tried her suggestion of rubbing castor oil on my tummy (the intestines run from just above your pubic bone to just under your ribs and from side-to-side)and then covering it with an old cotton t-shirt and a 2 qt. hot water bottle. I spend a few minutes massaging clock-wise from my lower-right side up and across and then down to the lower-left side, and then I just go to sleep on my back, with the hot water bottle propped on my tummy. It is guaranteed that the next morning I will dump more than I do when I don't do this. So there must be something to the castor oil soaking in plus the tummy massage! I've been reading a book by Trudeau titled " Natural Cures 'They' Don't Want You to Know About. The guy must be super rich and self-absorbed, b/c it seems like he does every natural health thing and food there is, but his info is most interesting. One of the first things on his list of " musts for good health " is to get 15 colonics in 30 days. He says you must clean your colon first and then proceed to clean, in this order, your liver/gall bladder, kidney/bladder, heavy metals, parasites, candida, and finally, a full-body fat cleanse. in TN
Guest guest
Cool, info, !Thanks for every word.I actually met with a colonic therapist a week or so ago. I asked him, "If a person [me, my son] is pooping every day, should we have colonic therapy?" He gave a firm and hearty, "No." He said it was for people pooping less than once a day. That said, his literature noted that a person "should" be pooping 2-3 times per day, and generally after every meal. I have a fab poop every morning, and that's usually it. My son generally goes 1x day also, unless a food has adversely affected him, in which case he may go 0 or 2-3 times. We've just started Betaine with Pepsin and I'll see what changes.I would still love to have a colon cleanse. I just think they're smart. I would also love to be able to do all the cleanses in an order.Several weeks ago, when I hadn't pooped for several days, I massaged my colon. That's all I did. When I got up from that, I had the longest, coiled poop of my life. Been pooping every since. I give detailed instructions in a file on the GAPS forum.Cheers,Baden
Guest guest
Nowhere else but on a group like this could we all share such gross details. All the specifics are SO helpful, though. Thanks for your honesty. And while I'm at it, Baden, thanks for ALL you are contributing to this and the GAPS groups. When peach season is over, I'm taking my hardest two children back to Square One, and we will use your files as checklists. in TN > > Cool, info, ! > > Thanks for every word. > > I actually met with a colonic therapist a week or so ago.
