Florida -- McKay Scholarship

There is a strong possibility that we're going to pull our son from public

school and send him to a private school that can better meet his needs. I've

filed the intent to use the McKay scholarship (for which my son is eligible) and

now we're waiting. I spoke with the school district yesterday so I know it's

being reviewed. The next step is for my son's matrix number to be determined and

find out how much his scholarship will be.

My question, is the matrix number negiotable at all? Is there an appeal process

if we feel his scholarship should be higher?
