Need help finding hobbies for 9th grader

This is a tough one, I'm looking for ideas on finding hobbies for a bright,

creative 9th grader who loves vintage cars, nature, science and maps. We're

trying desperately to replace his internet addiction(Facebook, others) with

healthier outlets for his creativity and need to express himself.

Would especially love suggestions that get him out and about interacting with

other kids.
