Guest guest
My son was diagnosed with AS about a year and a half ago and we tried to avoid the medication path, but we ended up having to put him on Conceta and Tenex about six months ago. He almost imediatly started to settle down at school and his attention span increased and his agessive behavior greatly improved; but, now he is acting out again and is becoming more violent and seems to be more moody and aguminitive, and almost never smiles anymore. I know that sometimes meds stop working and you have to try others until you find the right one; but, I want to know what we could try in the meantime, while he gose though the adjustment period; we can't keep him out of school, but if he gose he will just keep getting into trouble ( his teacher seems to understand, BUT the princapal and asst-principal don't).
