Hello Everyone,

I have never been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but am beginning to wonder if I have it. When you speak of pins and needles--I've only had one prick at a time, like pin and needle rather than the plural. I've often complained that (this time) it isn't really a joint hurting more like the muscles up the calf. Last night I was awaken about 3AM with pain in my forearm. I have had inflamed elbows the last couple of days but the pain was not coming from that. Any movement of the arm caused the muscles in my forearm to burn but I don't think the tissue was hot (I can't really remember). The pain was so bad that I couldn't get into a sitting position to get out of bed. I had to ask my husband for help to sit up so that I could get out of bed. I took some Tylenol and managed to get back to bed about 5AM.

Does this sound like FMS? Also if it is FMS is it important to have it diagnosed or is treatment much the same as it is for PA? Would my RD be the one to diagnose that or would it be some other type of doctor?

Hoping you are well today,

Jeanne In Idaho
