New to Group - Question about Digestive Enzymes

Hello. I have a 2 1/2 year old Autistic son. We are doing everything we can to

help him, including countless therapies, ABA, a DAN protocol and have just

started the GFCF diet a month ago. Today I saw an article about a new drug being

fast tracked by the FDA for the treatment of Autism. It was a digestive enzyme

for protein. This was the first time I have heard of this and would prefer not

to wait another year or more before I start something like this.

Does anyone use digestive enzymes for their toddler, in addition to the GFCF

diet? And if so, can you please give me a recommendation on a brand? Could there

by any side effects and has your child experienced any?

Also, I have been reading a lot about Nystatin or Diflucan. I am skeptical of

prescriptions but have read that many children have extreme gains after taking

one of these medications. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
