Guest guest
I HEARD THIS MORNING ON A RADIO TALK SHOW OF THEM TENTIING YOUR HOUSE AND USING EXTREME HEAT TO KILL MOLD!!!!!! THE HOST WOULD NOT GIVE ANY NAMES OF THE PEOPLE DOING THIS (HE WANTS TO INVESTIGATE IT MORE) BUT HE DID SAY THAT HE HAS HEARD OF GOOD RESULTS FROM THIS PROCESS. HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS METHOD AND IF IT REALLY WORKS????
Guest guest
I know California used to treat houses for insects by tenting them and then heating them. It was quite effective. But the problem with doing that with mold is that even if it kills the mold, it doesn't remove the mold. Mold doesn't need to be dead to cause problems. In fact, killing the mold with heat could very likely INCREASE exposure. The heat would remove moisture making the mold more dry and friable -- becoming airborne. By breaking apart and fragmenting there would be more " pieces " of mold floating around, creating MORE exposure. > I HEARD THIS MORNING ON A RADIO TALK SHOW OF THEM TENTIING YOUR HOUSE AND > USING EXTREME HEAT TO KILL MOLD!!!!!!
