In NJthere have been many towns that didn't approve schoolbudgets and on top of that the governor cut school funding. Many schools are increasing the size of classes and cutting the number of teachers in schools including specialeducation teachers. Sadly a step in the wrong direction forspecial needs kids. At the town level when there is a discussion on school budgetsthere are always some parents asking why the cost of special education is so high. So the pressure is on school districtsto reduce costs. I wish you all luck as we go into our IEP review season. Pam -- -mommy to Emma, Becca, , , , and baby girl no name (yeah I know, nothing new, does ever pick a name in a timely manner?)
