yep, same here, the little kids speech only iep mtgs went well but the string the school is using to string us along isnt getting any shorter at the elementary level for an asd iep for my older dd.  and i am starting to get too good at reading between the sentences b/c now not only what they say is making me made but what they dont say is making me mad.

i think weve talked about virtual school on here before, who does it?

Have your school districts been making budget cuts? In NJthere have been many towns that didn't approve schoolbudgets and on top of that the governor cut school funding. Many schools are increasing the size of classes and cutting

the number of teachers in schools including specialeducation teachers. Sadly a step in the wrong direction forspecial needs kids. At the town level when there is a discussion on school budgetsthere are always some parents asking why the cost of special

education is so high. So the pressure is on school districtsto reduce costs. I wish you all luck as we go into our IEP review season. Pam
