Guest guest
Sorry this will be long! We have struggled with ADHD with my 11 year old son Ben since he was 6. He is classis ADHD but still there has been more to it. We have been in private school and man have we fought the sytem all the way. We recently have asked for and gone to a devlopmental Pediatritian and Delopmental Psychologist and the Pediatritian has mentioned Aspergers and gave me a book to look at while they did testing. OH MY GOSH! This was may son. It made me cry with examples given that the teachers had been trying tosay he was doing on purpose. He was also diagnosed with anxiety disorder. He is bright and can make the grades with guidance. We are going to public school next year. Any suggestions? he does have a few things he will need done in the classroom like sitting in frontm needing some tests orally and for some reason he cannot comprehend what is on the blackboard to the paper on his desk so hee will need to have things written. He knows about his ADHD and I feel we should include him in anything that is done
