Hi. I am new to this group. My 5 year old, was just given the

official diagnosis of Aspergers yesterday. We've known something has been

different for awhile, and being a social worker, this was suspected. We should

be getting a call from the regional center today or tomorrow to discuss services

for him. also has Cystic Fibrosis. He's had 31 hospitalizations

and we thought for years that his little quirky behaviors were his way of coping

with everything he's been through. We feel it just got to be a little more than

that so we had him assessed.

Hope to get some advice on navigating this new diagnosis and find some support.
