Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I gave my daughter a No-Phenol cap and 2 drops of GSE as a yeast treatment, on an empty stomach and about 2 hrs later she vomited three times. I gave her a feed about 1 hour after the treatment. She is fed by NG tube and this came out when she vomited. I want to ask if I gave her too much, and perhaps should have gave half a capsule instead. She does not normally take enzymes - I bought the No-Phenol for the yeast. If I give her activated charcoal, when would I give it, before her feed? Timing it so it does not soak up the enzymes or her feed might be a problem. Obviously I do not want her to vomit her next tube out, as they are difficult to put it at the moment and we may need to go to the hospital to replace it (didn't used to be a problem), so any advice would be appreciated. BTW yeast treatments and probiotics always cause her to vomit, though Nystatin does nothing for her either way. She had an OAT which came back high yeast and bacterial overgrowth. Thanks in advance, Glynis
