Guest guest
We have done over 100 sessions of Zengar Neuroptimal neurofeedback and saw global improvements that are continuing to increase after we stopped. Expressive and receptive language, attention and focus, executive functioning, reading speed, understanding of how things work and ability to make predictions. You can search the archives of this group to read what I've said previously. I'll take this opportunity to say that I think there is a hierarchy of doing things to maximize whatever therapy you're working on. I think you have to First solve or get as far as you can with immune system function, gut dysbiosis, nutrient absorption, brain chemistry and any metabolic and hormonal problems . Then work on neural connectivity which is why we did neurofeedback, and then finally you can go to specific training like speech therapy, reading, OT, etc. It all hinged on medical health at our house, and continues to. If we get out of whack with yeast or bacterias or viruses, then everything collapses like dominoes and we have to work to get back. We did years worth of specific therapies that never really stuck or seemed to make much change, and it wasn't till we work on neural connectivity that we began to see them access and use the training that had been given. I guess some of it was stored in memory, but the brain couldn't get at it very efficiently. I think that after killing yeast, that Zengar NFB was the most important therapy we've done. Hope that helps. ****************** Has anyone here already tried nuerofeedback? I saw it on YouTube and it looks very interesting, there's an 8 year old girl on the video who is non verbal and within 6 weeks she started talking. Can anyone share their experience with nuerofeedback please Thanks
