hello,

i'm pretty new to this and was hoping someone knew about molybdenum? my son just

had a meeting with a dan doctor and to his initial bloodwork came back with an

almost undetectable level of molybdenum. does anyone else have experience with

this? to start off with he put him on a supplement of 1000mcg, is this alot? he

has significant phenol issues and i believe this is involved in the processing

of them internally? any info you all can share would be greatly appreciated!

thank you,

kim

I can't advise you on the dose of molybdenum, but it helps if your son has

phenol issues. We supp 200 mcg for our son and his labs only indicated slightly

low. His phenol issues are also helped with Epsom salt baths. see this link to

Moly does help with phenol issues. I started my son with 100mcg, so your

starting dose is very high, in my opinion. I never gave my son more than 200mcg

per day.
