Guest guest
We just started another round of flagyl after getting my son's stool test back. He has five bacterial imbalances and one bacterial dysbiosis. Yeast is still an issue but not as bad as in the past. Our DAN physician said that the flagyl should kill four out of the five bacterial imbalances. In the past we have used flagyl for clostridia with marked improvement. We just completed the first week and I have noticed really awful smelling gas. This is something new. Poops are very smelly but are beginning to firm up. I do not remember every having smelly gas/poops after starting flagyl. Is this part of a bigger die off? We have added Kirkman's biofilm to his gut protocol which is also something new. Does anyone have any thoughts and/or experiences? TIA, Dayna
