On Feb. 11, the Yankton Board of Education hired ATC Associates, of Roseville, Minn., to do a microbial assessment on a few discolored spots at the schools. Superintendent Joe Gertsema said Thursday that the test results have come back and indicate neither building has a mold problem. ATC Associates did recommend vacuuming the affected areas with a HEPA filter, which Gertsema said the school already uses and is being done.
