Guest guest
Is the main difference btwn classical autism and asperger's IQ? Is it low IQ that gives the intellectual disability and increased impairment? I do see your point - I am glad my son is not severely intellectually disabled - I would find that incredibly hard to deal with. We have some adults that live next door that need a carer 24 hours. My son was up on the fence chatting to them - he asked me why they " talk funny " . I get a fright when they laugh or tantrum because it sounds so odd.
